This lake is so wonderful. The Main Paint Rock Trail is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Bear Lake, and a great place is Warner Draw. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Lake View Campground is a splendid local campground. So many cool things to do in the Bighorn Mountains, not sufficient time. Take a side trip to       Middle Tensleep Creek, and don’t forget to stop by Deer Park while you're here at Bear Lake. Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bighorn Mountains. At Bear Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 60's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 30's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Bear Lake. There is a splendid hiking trail in the vicinity of Bear Lake called the Cliff Lake Trail, and if you                  came to camp Island Park Campground is a wonderful place to do that. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Bighorn Mountains. A day on the slopes of Big Horn Ski is just what you need, and if you come at the right time of year, Paintrock Creek offers some nice whitewater. All the outdoors exciting things near Bear Lake will keep you coming back many times. On a splendid day at Bear Lake you can take a hike along the Mistymoon Trail, and Meadowlark Lake is a good lake nearby. Bear Lake gets very little rainfall; through the month of April you get the most snow around here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
