     Not much precipitation falls here at Basin Reservoir; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture. There's some flowing water nearby, Gooseberry Creek is a stream you can stop at while here; unsurprisingly, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Peterson Reservoir is a lake close at hand. Having a great time in the Laramie Mountains is uncomplicated. You'll need more than a day to explore everything  
   Basin Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Curtis Gulch Campground, and Super 8 Motel - Douglas is a nice site to get some rest.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Basin Reservoir. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Basin Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. So much cool stuff to do here at Basin Reservoir, too good
 
               to be true. While staying at Basin Reservoir you could always discover Basin Draw. This lake is located in the wonderful Laramie Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Poison Lake is a lake that's close to Basin Reservoir; why not stop at Basin Dam if you're here. If you need a location to stay Best Western Douglas Inn & Conference Center is a wonderful choice. There's so much to do here at Basin Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Douglas Koa is a good spot for that.
