Not much precipitation falls here at Basin Reservoir; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture. There's some flowing water nearby, Gooseberry Creek is a stream you can stop at while here; unsurprisingly, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Peterson Reservoir is a lake close at hand. Having a great time in the Laramie Mountains is uncomplicated. You'll need more than a day to explore everything

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Basin Reservoir. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Reservoir; why not stop at Basin Dam if you're here. If you need a location to stay Best Western Douglas Inn & Conference Center is a wonderful choice. There's so much to do here at Basin Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Douglas Koa is a good spot for that.
