Sure, Muddy Guard Reservoir Number 2 is close at hand, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Basch Dam is delightful and it's next to Basch Reservoir,       and let's not forget Burnett Creek which is a stream that you may come across during your stay. At Basch Reservoir you don’t see much rain; May is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Basch Reservoir during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Basch Reservoir.                  Basch Reservoir is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Mountain View Motel and Campground is a glorious site to camp nearby.
