Summertime highs at Barren Lake generally tend to be in the 80's; the overnight is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Barren Lake tend to be in the 10's. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Wind River Range. Paddling on Bull Lake Creek is so much fun, and going       for a hike along the Shadow Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. If you adore the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Barren Lake. If you're here, you might as well take a look at Jackass Pass, and at Barren Lake you can spot Bair Peak. Having a pleasant time in the Wind River Range is uncomplicated. Why not camp at Dickinson Creek Campground while you're here at Barren Lake, and you can have a wonderful                  hiking adventure along the Bears Ears Trail. You must definitely go to Block Tower while you're here at Barren Lake; not far from Barren Lake you'll find Texas Lake which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. A good site to camp here at Barren Lake is Big Sandy Campground; since you're here you can take a hike along the Lizard Head Trail. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a nice location to spend a night or two. Lakes are pleasant; Billys Lake is a lake that's close to Barren Lake.
