Wyoming has many beautiful lakes and Barnes Lake is one of them. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Barnes Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Barnes Lake. After a long day outdoors Amerihost Inn Pinedale is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Horseshoe

| | Lake Trail is always a good adventure. So many amusing things to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. A pretty lake like Bell Lakes close to Barnes Lake is a good location to go to, and dry warm beds await you at Rivera Lodge.
This location, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. A glorious spot for whitewater paddling near Barnes Lake is Boulder Creek; there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Bell Lakes Trail. This lake | |

is so wonderful. Barnes Lake is pretty dried up ordinarily; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February.
And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do right next door to Barnes
Lake. Barnes Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Campground is a wonderful local campground; why not a little side trip to Little Fall Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Boulder Lake Campground
is always a perfect experience; if the weather is lovely, you get a glorious view of Mount Baldy from Barnes Lake. You can run the rapids of Pole Creek in close proximity to Barnes Lake, and close by you discover the Timico Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range.
