So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains, not enough time. If the weather is perfect here at Barber Lake, you can go for a hike along the Circle Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Laramie River. There's so much to do here at Barber Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Nash Fork Campground is a great place for that; Barber Lake is not far       at all from Laramie. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Barber Lake. If you came to camp Lewis Lake Campground is a glorious spot to do that; Snowy Range has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. Around Barber Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Barber Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The Lakes Trail is a fine hiking trail near Barber Lake; you'll discover                  a lovely lake called Hanging Lake. High temperatures at Barber Lake all through the summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Barber Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Arlington Pack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; on a pretty day you acquire a brilliant vista of Corner Mountain from Barber Lake. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
