At Barber Lake you don’t see much rain; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Gold Run Creek is in the vicinity of Barber Lake and is always a pleasure to stop by, and great skiing awaits you at Snowy Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lewis Lake Campground, and there's nice hiking along the Arlington Pack Trail. These mountains       rock, just check out all the cool stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Barber Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Camping at Upper Nash Fork Campground is always a great experience; Corner Mountain is lovely and can be observed from here. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. You're sure to bump into some nice people from Laramie here, and the Circle Trail offers hiking at its                  best. All the outdoors fun stuff near Barber Lake will keep you coming back persistently. If you come at the right time of year, Laramie River offers some perfect whitewater, and Barber Lake is right by the Lakes Trail. All through the days of summer at Barber Lake highs are regularly in the 80's; the overnight is quite cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's.
