This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Lots of people from Laramie come to Barber Lake, and do take a hike on the Lakes Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Circle Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Snowy Range. So many enjoyable things in the Medicine Bow Mountains,       just unbelievable. If you get bored of Barber Lake, you could also stop by nearby Swastika Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Upper Nash Fork Campground is a magnificent spot to camp. Hanging Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and the Arlington Pack Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. All through the warmest time of the year at Barber Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends                  down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Barber Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Barber Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Lewis Lake Campground is a good campground nearby, and some close by water includes Gold Run Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Laramie River for all you adrenaline junkies, and the summit of Corner Mountain can be spotted from Barber Lake.
