The beauty of Barbara Lake attracts many people from all around. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River Range. A pleasant nearby hotel is Rivera Lodge. There's so much to do here at Barbara Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Half Moon Campground is a glorious place for that. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pole Creek, and Barbara Lake is right by the Seneca Lake Trail.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Sweeney Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Boulder Creek.
Barbara Lake is located in the Wind River Range. All the outdoors cool things in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. You're perhaps hooked on lakes, Eklund Lake is one of those nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Barbara Lake; | |

all the entertaining stuff at Barbara Lake. Photographers Point is charming and can be spotted from Barbara Lake; hiking along the Pole Creek Trail is tremendous fun. If you need a place to stay Amerihost Inn Pinedale is a good choice,
and you can stay the night at Trails End Campground. Barbara Lake is pretty arid generally; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February.
