In Wyoming there are many beautiful lakes, Baldy Lakes is one of them. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. Near Baldy Lakes you stumble on the Baldy Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; camping at Boulder Campground is always a glorious experience. Baldy Lakes gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Go for a hike on the Cook Lake Trail;

| | get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Pole Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Timico Lake is next to Baldy Lakes, and one of the overriding marks of the surroundings of Baldy Lakes is Mount Baldy. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Baldy Lakes. You could also have a look at Barnes Lake if you're here at Baldy Lakes; it's nearby, and Bald Mountain Basin is right here at Baldy Lakes.

Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Going for a hike on the Bell Lakes Trail is always a good adventure, and a splendid site to camp here at Baldy Lakes is Boulder Lake Campground. That
right there is a lot of amusing things already but it goes on, the Wind River Range has it all. A splendid place for whitewater paddling close to Baldy Lakes is Boulder Creek, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn
is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Baldy Lakes while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Baldy Lakes are in the 10's.
