Baldwin Reservoir is pretty arid generally; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Tongue River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Lakes? Sure, Meredith Reservoir       is around here. Going for a hike on the Bear Gulch Trail is always a great adventure, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Sheridan. Do check out Baldwin Dam if you're here at Baldwin Reservoir, and Windy Draw Reservoir is a pleasant lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn & Suites Sheridan is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and why not head up to Antelope Butte and strap some skis to your feet.                  At Baldwin Reservoir during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's; the overnight is a bit chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Baldwin Reservoir night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Baldwin Reservoir. Getting to Little Ash Creek from Baldwin Reservoir is trouble-free; don't leave Baldwin Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Roosevelt Trail. There are good sites to explore along the Tepee Trail.
