     The beauty of Baker Lake attracts many people from all around. Yeah, come up here to the Wind River Range for a nice time. The peak of Klondike Peak can be made out from Baker Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Baker Lake. If you want to stop at some exciting stuff, stop at Connie Glacier, and Baker Lake is right by the Shannon Pass Trail. Baker Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range.

   you at Super 8 Motel - Dubois. There's so much to do here at Baker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trails End Campground is a pleasant place for that. Get dripping wet paddling on Wind River; if you need a place to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a good choice. Through the days of summer highs here at Baker Lake reach the 80's, and the night is a tad chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through  
               the dark hours in the winter at Baker Lake temperatures descend to the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Glacier Trail is perfect fun, and if you came to camp Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a splendid spot to do that. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Going for a hike along the New Fork Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and float down the rapids of Green River in a kayak. Baker Lake is mostly a relatively dry place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
