Best Western Pinedale Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest, and Baker Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground. At Baker Lake you don’t see much precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the summertime months at Baker Lake highs are typically in       the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Baker Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Baker Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trails End Campground is a perfect spot for that, and a lake nearby is Iceberg Lake. Baker Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. So many exciting things to do in the Wind River                  Range, not enough time. A cool spot to stop at in close proximity to Baker Lake is Connie Glacier, and here at Baker Lake you can catch a glimpse of Klondike Peak. On a great day at Baker Lake you can take a hike along the New Fork Trail, and Baker Lake is not the only location nearby, Kevin Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a wonderful choice. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Baker Lake. If the weather is great here at Baker Lake, you can go for a hike along the Glacier Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Wind River offers some magnificent whitewater. This place, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors fun things.
