Paddling on Encampment River is so much fun. Summer at Baby Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's; nighttime lows at Baby Reservoir all through the wintertime mostly dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Lazy Acres Court if you're here at       Baby Reservoir, and swing by Antelope Creek it's a good site to check out. Gunst Dam is worth taking a look at since you're here; Beaver Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground. Get drenched paddling on North Platte River, and Collins Draw is a fine spot to stop by. Dry warm beds await you at CrossTimbers at Steamboat, and you can go for a hike on the State Line Trail. So many entertaining things to do at Baby Reservoir, so little time.
