Baby Reservoir gets very little rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. At Baby Reservoir throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Baby Reservoir. There's some exciting stuff to make       out at Gunst Dam close to Baby Reservoir, and Encampment River is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. The State Line Trail is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Baby Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Riverside Garage & Cabins. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Gunst Reservoir close to Baby Reservoir, it's a striking lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on North Platte River.                  This lake is so wonderful. Antelope Creek is a perfect local stream; after a long day outdoors Bear Trap Bar Cafe & Cabins is a great spot to spend a night or two. Camping at Baby Reservoir is brilliant fun, Beaver Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground; why not camp at Lazy Acres Court if you're here at Baby Reservoir. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Baby Reservoir has it all.
