It's always fun to stop by August Lake. At August Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at August Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. August Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range. If you come at the right time of year, Pole Creek offers some magnificent whitewater; a
fine place to camp here at August Lake is Boulder Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Boulder Inn is a splendid choice. Lakes are splendid; Macs Lake is a lake that's near August Lake.
You might
want to pay a visit to Hat Pass since you're here at August Lake, and Amerihost Inn Pinedale is a brilliant place to get some rest.
