There's great hiking along the Game Creek Trail, and there's whitewater on Tongue River for all you thrill seekers. The warmest time of the year at Ashenbach Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Ashenbach Reservoir. Having a glorious time at Ashenbach Reservoir is trouble-free. There are fine places       to discover along the Roosevelt Trail, and if you've had enough of Ashenbach Reservoir, Antwerp Reservoir is close by. Dry warm beds await you at Ranchester Western Motel, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Antelope Butte. Ashenbach Dam is a striking site in close proximity to Ashenbach Reservoir, and Ashenbach Reservoir is close to Grouse Draw which is unquestionably worth visiting. At Ashenbach Reservoir you don’t see much                  rain; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Cool Enterprises is a good choice, and Ashenbach Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tongue River Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Big Horn Ski and strap some skis to your feet. Don't leave Ashenbach Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Wolf Creek Trail.
