Ann Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Wind River, and you can stay the night at Rawhide Ranch. Going for a hike on the Ross Lake Trail is always a nice adventure; a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Wind River - East Fork. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Wind River Range rocks!. Now, you may believe that's       a lot but there's even more cool things to do here in the Wind River Range. Near Ann Lake you come across the Whiskey Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail; Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a good campground here. So much cool stuff to do at Ann Lake, so little time. Trail's End Motel is a good location to get some rest, and Red Wing Lake is a magnificent lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the C M Trail, and dry warm beds await                  you at Wind River Motel. Not much rain falls here at Ann Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. High temperatures at Ann Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's.
