    If you are in Fremont county it's always a good idea to stop by Alpine Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Douglas Peak can be distinguished from Alpine Lakes; a lake nearby is Timico Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Wind River Range has to offer. Get covered with water paddling on Bull Lake Creek, and Alpine Lakes is right by the Baldy Lake Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range.
 
   You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Alpine Lakes. Why not camp at Boulder Lake Campground if you're here at Alpine Lakes, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Pole Creek is so much fun, and the Cook Lake Trail offers hiking at its best.
If you get bored of Alpine Lakes, you could also take a look at nearby Lake Louise, and camping is available
 
               at Boulder Campground. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Alpine Lakes get into the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows at Alpine Lakes throughout the winter frequently sink into the 10's. Alpine Lakes gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest.
Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Wind River Range is great! What would a location like Alpine Lakes be without exciting close by features like Brown Cliffs; hiking along the Indian Pass Trail is magnificent fun.
