    Beautiful Alpine Lakes has much to offer visitors. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. You can run the rapids of Bull Lake Creek in the vicinity of Alpine Lakes; don't leave Alpine Lakes without first going for a hike along the Baldy Lake Trail. It is very dried up here at Alpine Lakes mostly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is commonly the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're hooked on cool
 
   geologic marks, try Brown Cliffs, and great hiking is available along the Indian Pass Trail. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the Wind River Range. If you came for an overnight stay Boulder Campground is a great location to camp. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area near Alpine Lakes has to offer. Do explore Snowbridge Lake in the vicinity of Alpine Lakes, it's a charming lake, and you can go for a hike  
               on the Cook Lake Trail.
You clearly have to go for the Wind River Range. The summit of Douglas Peak can be distinguished from Alpine Lakes, and there's whitewater on Pole Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Boulder Lake Campground is a pleasant campground here, and after a long day outdoors Stagecoach Motor Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Alpine Lakes typically tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Alpine Lakes dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
