A striking lake like Mountain Reservoir in the neighborhood of Allen Reservoir is a brilliant place to stop by, and there are splendid spots to look at along the Stockwell Trail. Yeah, come here to Allen Reservoir for a tremendous time. Do stop at Moncreiffe Reservoir close to Allen Reservoir, it's a striking lake, and Sheridan-Days Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest. Not much rainfall falls here       at Allen Reservoir; through April this area sees the most snow while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Near Allen Reservoir you hit upon Johnson Draw which is a magnificent site to take a look at, and you can take a little tour to Allen Dam if you're here at Allen Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Story Penrose Trail is always a nice adventure, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Sheridan is a                  tremendous place to spend a night or two. Hit the slopes at Antelope Butte around here. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Penrose Park Trail, and of course East Fork Kruse Creek flows through this vicinity. Clear Creek is a good whitewater spot near Allen Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Allen Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Cabin Creek Trailer Campground - Bighorn National Forest is a great place for that. There are plenty of folks from Sheridan here at Allen Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Allen Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Wagon Box Campground. All through the warmest time of the year, highs commonly are in the 60's at Allen Reservoir. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's.
