     If you come at the right time of year, Middle Popo Agie River offers some wonderful whitewater; while you're here, you could also check out pretty Ray Lake. Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a nice place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Alkali Lake has to offer, you can camp at Ray Lake Cafe. The Cold Spring Trail is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Alkali Lake, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks  
   from Riverton for sure. While you're here at Alkali Lake you can take a hike along the Blue Trail, and do check out Ray Reservoir, it's a striking lake.
At Alkali Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is when it's the driest. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. If the weather is splendid here at Alkali Lake, you can go for a hike along the Farlow Trail, and dry warm beds await
 
               you at Best Western The Inn at Lander. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes North Fork Little Wind River. There's so much to do here at Alkali Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rocky Acres Campground is a great place for that.
This lake is so wonderful. At Alkali Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Alkali Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
