It is very dry here at Adams Reservoir commonly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Cottontree Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; camping at Little Sandstone Campground is always a fine experience. Summer at Adams Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the       80's; the nighttime is a bit colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Adams Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. At Adams Reservoir you can spot Middlewood Hill, and if you need a spot to stay Bucking Horse Lodge is a tremendous choice. On a pleasant day at Adams Reservoir you can take a hike along the Sandstone Divide Trail; if you came to camp Jack Creek Campground                  is a tremendous location to do that. The Emigrant Trail is a great hiking trail near Adams Reservoir, and Adams Dam is a scenic place, without doubt worth a visit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place.
