You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the vicinity of Wolfpen Lake has to offer. During your spree to Wolfpen Lake you'll meet some folks from Clarksburg for sure. There's so much to do here at Wolfpen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wilderness waterpark and Camp is a fine place for that. The high level of rainfall makes Wolfpen Lake a reasonably wet spot; the month with most       of the rain is July while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WESTON, and a visit to Mr Hall Spring will fill your soul with great feelings. For the period of the long summer days, highs generally are in the 80's at Wolfpen Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter                  nights at Wolfpen Lake are in the 20's. Wolfpen Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Broken Wheel Campground Country Store is a perfect local campground, and the scenery at Polk Creek Structure Number Eight Dam is striking. Stonewall Resort is a great place to get some rest, and why not a little side tour to Burnside Run.
