It's always fun to stop by Warden Lake. Looking for something close to Warden Lake? Moores Run Lake Number One is in the neighborhood; Warden Lake Dam is not far at all from Warden Lake. Warden Lake is a good spot of common precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Green Lantern Motel is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and there's magnificent hiking along the Squirrel

A wonderful nearby hotel is See's Motel, and whitewater paddling is good on Lost River. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff right next door to Warden Lake will keep you coming back many times. Stay the night at Hawk Campground, and get soaked paddling on Waites Run. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Warden Lake; Peer Trail is a good local trail; Lower State Farm Spring is a tremendous local attraction.

Warden Lake has to offer, you can camp at Green Meadows Campground; why not take a refreshing hike along the Halfmoon Lookout Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Warden Lake is a location with many visitors from Winchester. During the
months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Warden Lake, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, typically in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Warden Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
