Many people like to go to Twin Lakes. All through the warm months at Twin Lakes highs are regularly in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Twin Lakes dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Stay the night at Fox Fire Resort; a glorious nearby hotel is Quality Inn Huntington. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Sky Lake, and getting to Grapevine Branch from Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Beech Fork State Park is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and there are some great whitewater spots on Mud River. Twin Lakes sees pretty high levels of rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Ramada Limited Huntington is a good site to get some rest.
