Trout Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Clay Run, and there's pleasant hiking along the Mile Trail.

dry warm beds await you at Lakeview Scanticon Golf Resort Spa & Conference Center. Paddling on Cheat River is so much fun, and folks from Morgantown love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. A short journey to Big Spring is always
worthwhile, and Coopers Rock Lake is a great lake nearby.
At Trout Pond during the summer months highs are in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Trout Pond.
