    In West Virginia there are many beautiful lakes, Thorn Bottom Pond is one of them. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Thorn Bottom Pond has to offer, you can camp at Trout Pond Campground, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lost River. The yearly rainfall here at Thorn Bottom Pond is about average; July is when you get the most rain here,  
   and February meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Thorn Bottom Pond, you could also stop at close by Trout Pond, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel Mount Jackson is a wonderful choice. High temperatures at Thorn Bottom Pond during the summer months are in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and
 
               winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Thorn Bottom Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Brushy Hollow Trail; Holiday Inn Express WOODSTOCK-SHENANDOAH VALLEY is a magnificent location to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Trout Pond Run, and Joseph Sager Spring is an inspiring spot to pop by while you're here. Rockcliff Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and the Trout Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. Bens Hill is clearly visible from Thorn Bottom Pond, and why not stop at Thorn Bottom Farm Pond Dam if you're here.
There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Bryce Resort. There's so much to do here at Thorn Bottom Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Branch Mountain Campground is a nice place for that. You definitely ought to have a thing about Thorn Bottom Pond. Whitewater paddling is great on Trout Run; Thorn Bottom Pond is right by the Crack Whip Furnace Trail.

Don't be surprised to get chilled if sticking your feet in the water. I fish the reservoir along with the Little Stoney Creek several times during the summer months.
