This lake is so wonderful. Stonecoal Reservoir is a good lake right next door to The Fishpond, and if you need a site to stay Stonewall Resort is a good choice. If you came for an overnight stay Stonecoal Campground is a great spot to camp; here at The Fishpond you can catch a glimpse of Bob Peak. Why not camp at Pioneer Campground while you're here at The Fishpond, and you can go       for a hike on the High Rock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. So much entertaining stuff next to The Fishpond, completely inspiring. There's some flowing water close by, Buttonwood Run is a stream you can explore during your stay, and don't leave The Fishpond without first going for a hike along the Wilderness Trail. A brilliant nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Weston; there are brilliant locations to look at along the Reverie Trail. A delightful lake                  like Bendale Lake in close proximity to The Fishpond is a splendid site to pop by, and get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Buckhannon River. Summer brings highs in the 80's to The Fishpond with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at The Fishpond temperatures fall to the 10's.
