The Fishpond gets much water; all through July this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Take a side visit to Buttonwood Run; dry warm beds await you at Stonewall Resort. Hampton Inn Buckhannon is a fine place to get some rest, and you're perhaps hooked on lakes, Stonecoal Reservoir is one of those nearby. Man, is there a lot       of entertaining things to do in the neighborhood of The Fishpond. Don't leave The Fishpond without first going for a hike along the Reverie Trail. Lakes are magnificent; Bendale Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to The Fishpond. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to The Fishpond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at The Fishpond. This lake                  is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the High Rock Trail; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Buckhannon River. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful panorama of scenic Bob Peak is available from The Fishpond.
