Mill Run is a stream that you may run into while here, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ELKINS. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Shingle Tree Trail is always a great adventure. Lakes? Sure, Tygart Lake is nearby. For the period of the long summer days at Teter Creek Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while nighttime lows are       usually in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Teter Creek Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. There's whitewater on Laurel Creek - Tygart Tributary for all you adrenaline junkies; not far from Teter Creek Lake you'll find Mill Creek Reservoir which is a pretty lake. Elkins-Days Inn is a good site to get some rest; Teter Creek Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Heaven Recreation                  Area is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Morgantown come to Teter Creek Lake. The South Haddix Trail is a delightful hiking trail in the vicinity of Teter Creek Lake, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Teter Creek. Having a brilliant time at Teter Creek Lake is uncomplicated. Near Teter Creek Lake you discover the Pheasant Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail; a delightful place to camp here at Teter Creek Lake is Pegasus Farm Campground.
