If you are in Preston county it's always a good idea to stop by Terra Alta Lake. Going for a hike along the Lindy Run Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A splendid place to camp here at Terra Alta Lake is Albright Campground, and glide down the rapids of Muddy Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Boundary Trail is glorious fun, and get wet paddling on Youghiogheny River. Alpine Lake Resort is a great place to get
some rest, and some of the water nearby flows, like North Branch Snowy Creek. For the duration of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Terra Alta Lake with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the winter the highs are usually
in the 30's while Terra Alta Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Terra Alta Lake Dam; Dayton Evans Spring is a tremendous local attraction.
