A visit to Swan Pond is always a good idea. A normal amount of rain falls here at Swan Pond; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. So many exciting things to do here at Swan Pond, too fine to be true. There's whitewater on Antietam Creek for all you adrenaline people, and lots of folks from Hagerstown-Martinsburg come here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Swan Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Opequon Junction Campground is a wonderful location for that, and close by you stumble on the Snavelys Ford Trail which is a great hiking trail. There are delightful | |

spots to discover along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Shepherdstown is a great spot to spend a night or two.
Going for a hike on the Loudoun Heights Trail is always a perfect
adventure It's always fine to explore Swan Pond Spring. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Back Creek near Swan Pond, and if you came to camp Mc Mahon's Mill Rec Area is a great spot to do that. A delightful nearby hotel is Comfort Suites Martinsburg, and a golf course close by is Stonebridge Golf Club.
