A round of golf at nearby Stonebridge Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time, and the Snavelys Ford Trail offers hiking at its best. Potomac River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Swan Pond is right by the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. There's whitewater on Back Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Martinsburg is a great site to spend a night or two. Through the summertime at Swan Pond highs are
usually in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Swan Pond are in the 10's. From a rain point of view Swan Pond is a quite common site; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
