This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Big Glady Run; whitewater paddling is great on Cherry River - North Fork. Lakes are pleasant; Ceasar Lake is a lake that's right next door to Summit Lake, and why not camp at Summit Lake Campground while you're here at Summit Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a beautiful day you obtain a panorama of Hanging Rock from Summit Lake; if the weather       is good, you can go for a hike along the Pocahontas Trail. Summit Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Summit Lake. Cranberry Campground is a great local campground, and hiking along the Hanging Rock Trail is magnificent fun. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Summit Lake. Throughout                  the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; night lows through the winter for Summit Lake tend to be in the 20's. This is a tremendous region for people who like lakes. Summit Lake is a lake in close proximity, and tremendous water scenery is available at Summit Lake Dam near Summit Lake. Cranberry River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and going for a hike along the Fork Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
