The beauty of Summit Lake attracts many people from all around. Stay the night at Summit Lake Campground, and you acquire a splendid sight of Hanging Rock from here. What a location this is for outdoors folks. There's so much to do here at Summit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cranberry Campground is a fine site for that, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Fork Mountain Trail. place to get some rest. Cranberry River is a delightful whitewater spot near Summit Lake; going for a hike on the Pocahontas Trail is always a tremendous adventure. The Hanging Rock Trail is a good hiking trail close to Summit Lake;
if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cherry River - North Fork.
