Summersville Lake is a rather wet place regularly with much precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This place, Summersville Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Summersville       Lake is right by the Carnifex Trail, and Summersville Dam is a spot that is close to Summersville Lake. During the summertime months at Summersville Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Summersville Lake are in the 20's. Do explore Water Supply Reservoir close to Summersville Lake, it's a stunning lake; paddling                  on Meadow River is so much fun. It's always splendid to pop by Insignificant Rapids, and dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Summersville, Wv. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Summersville Lake, you could also stop at pretty Taylor Fork Refuse Disposal Lake, and do take a hike on the Way Back Trail. You have to absolutely take a look at Rucker Bend if you're here at Summersville Lake, and unsurprisingly Battle Run flows through this area. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Summersville Lake. Gauley River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Summersville Lake Retreat is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
