High temperatures at Strawn Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Strawn Lake tend to be in the 10's. Camping is available at Whisper Mountain Campground, and if you're popping by from Morgantown, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. If you       came for an overnight stay Mount Morris Campground is a tremendous site to camp, and at Strawn Lake you can make out Bald Knob. The amount of rainfall that falls at Strawn Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. If you need a place to stay Ramada Inn is a fine choice, and do visit Strawn Lake Dam while you're here. You assume that's sufficient? Just                  getting warmed up. Don't leave Strawn Lake without first paying a visit to George J Giles Spring.
