The beauty of Strawn Lake is reason enough to stop by. For the period of the warm days of summer at Strawn Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Strawn Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. at Strawn Lake; it's nearby; you'll meet a lot of people from Morgantown here. From Strawn Lake you get a pleasant view of Bald Knob, and you can run the rapids of Deckers Creek.
