It's always fun to stop by Stony River Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A good site to camp here at Stony River Reservoir is Blackwater Lodge, and hiking along the Stonecoal Trail is brilliant fun. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Timberline are so inviting nobody can resist. and Stony River Reservoir is right by the Blackbird Knob Trail. This place is peerless, just look at all the fun stuff to do near Stony River Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Mountaineer Motel is a perfect choice, and you don’t have to go far from Stony River Reservoir to see the water at Stony River Dam.
