This lake is a striking 5 square mile lake. Broken Wheel Campground Country Store is a good campground nearby, and a tremendous close by hotel is Comfort Inn Weston. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is nice here at Stonecoal Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Salt Lick     Trail; if the weather is beautiful, you get a wonderful vista of Purgatory Hill from Stonecoal Reservoir.
