Lots of rainfall falls at Stonecoal Reservoir; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. The top of Purgatory Hill is easily distinguished from Stonecoal Reservoir, and there are plenty of people from Clarksburg here at Stonecoal Reservoir. Don't forget to take a pleasant little tour to Beechlick Run, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Kanawha River. Weston Super 8 Motel       is a nice place to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Salt Lick Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Stonecoal Reservoir; Reverie Trail is a nice local trail, and if you came to camp Wilderness waterpark and Camp is a magnificent location to do that. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are truly plentiful here at Stonecoal Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the High Rock Trail. There's so much to do here at                  Stonecoal Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Broken Wheel Campground Country Store is a perfect site for that. Summertime highs at Stonecoal Reservoir usually tend to be in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Stonecoal Reservoir.
