The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Spruce Knob Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Spruce Knob Lake tend to be in the 10's. If the weather is good here at Spruce Knob Lake, you can go for a hike along the Gatewood Nature       Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Gatewood Group Campground is a glorious place to camp. Spruce Knob Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; through the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Spruce Knob Lake is not the only site nearby, Buffalo Lake is a nearby lake, and the North Fork Big Run Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. This lake                  is so wonderful. You could also stop by Lake Buffalo while you're here at Spruce Knob Lake; it's nearby, and if you need a place to stay Elkins Super 8 Motel is a magnificent choice. Since you're here at Spruce Knob Lake why not have a look at Lafe Hedrick Hollow, and you can run the rapids of Gandy Creek. Yeah, come here to Spruce Knob Lake for a tremendous time. Why not camp at Spruce Knob Lake Campground while you're here at Spruce Knob Lake, and Big Run River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby.
