Simon Fish Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Stay the night at Pipestem Koa Kampground, and Brush Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. Oney Gap is a wonderful spot to look at, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Winterplace. There's so much to do here at Simon Fish Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Walnut Flats Campground is a delightful place for that.

| | Thompson Horse Trail is glorious fun; if you need a site to stay Eden Rock Motel is a glorious choice. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Simon Fish Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Simon Fish Pond. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Stumpy Bottom while you're here at Simon Fish Pond, and do visit Christian Fork Lake, it's a
beautiful lake. Simon Fish Pond regularly gets much precipitation; most of the rain falls all through July, and November on the other hand is the driest. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near
Simon Fish Pond has to offer. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Bluestone River; Christian Fork is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at.
Take a hike on the Hoof and Hill Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Princeton.
