Beautiful Silver Lake has much to offer visitors. From Silver Lake you acquire a great sight of Hoye-Crest, and Cannon Hill Campground is a wonderful campground here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Silver Lake; Lindy Run Trail is a great local trail, and camping at Silver Lake is great fun, Blackwater Lodge is a great local campground. Good hiking is available along the Boundary Trail, and if you need a site to stay Table Rock Inn is a wonderful choice.

some flowing water close by, Sand Spring Run is a stream you can visit while you're here, and at Silver Lake you always meet someone from Morgantown. This lake is so wonderful. Canaan Valley has nice slopes and a friendly staff; Alpine
Lodge is a brilliant location to get some rest.
Hit the slopes at Timberline in the vicinity, and Blackwater River - North Fork is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.
