The beauty of Seneca Lake attracts many people from all around. Little Thorny Creek is a good place to go to, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Greenbrier River. Snowshoe is a good local ski area, and you can stay the night at Whittaker Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Seven Mile Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and going for a hike on the Scarlet Oak Trail is always a perfect adventure.

| | Be careful coming to Seneca Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Everybody close by loves skiing at The Homestead, and Seneca State Forest is a tremendous local forest. All through the summer months highs here at Seneca Lake reach the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. to Booga-Boo Hollow which is certainly worth taking a look at, and you can go for a hike on the Hill Top Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Covington, Virginia is a pleasant spot to get some rest. From Seneca
Lake you obtain a great sight of Rabbit Knob; don't leave Seneca Lake without first going for a hike along the Peters Mountain Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Seneca Lake a reasonably wet location; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is mostly the driest month.
