There's so much to do here at Rowland Mine Impoundment that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Stephens Campground is a brilliant place for that, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Sandlick Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Rowland Mine Impoundment is in the vicinity of Mcgraw Fork Slurry Dam which is a picturesque spot positively worth visiting, and a visit to Bluestone National Scenic River is recommended.
