The scenery at Turkey Run Lake Dam in the vicinity of Ritchies Pond is wonderful, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Ritchies Pond; Riverview Trail is a perfect local trail. Near Ritchies Pond you discover Sand Creek Bar which is a glorious place to stop at, and Scottish Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest. Big Run flows through this region. Lakes? Sure, Turkey Foot Lake       is in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. One of the governing traits of the surroundings of Ritchies Pond is Utah Hill, and why not camp at Ruby Lake Campground if you're here at Ritchies Pond. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great world it would be. Camping at Ritchies Pond is tremendous fun, River's Bend Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground, and a cool spot to stop at is Polecat Bend. If you need a site                  to stay Scottish Inns Ravenswood is a nice choice, and golf can be played at Green Hills Country Club. From a rain point of view Ritchies Pond is a rather common place; during July this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. At Ritchies Pond during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Ritchies Pond are in the 10's.
