Turkey Run Lake Dam is not far at all from Ritchies Pond; while you're here you can take a hike along the Riverview Trail. From a rainfall point of view Ritchies Pond is a rather typical location; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. Throughout the months of summer here at Ritchies Pond,       high temperatures generally reach the 80's; the overnight is quite chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Ritchies Pond through the wintertime commonly dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Turkey Foot Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and you need to explore Polecat Bend while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Ruby Lake Campground is a brilliant campground                  nearby. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Ritchies Pond. A glorious nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Ripley; Sand Creek Bar is another delightful place to pop by nearby. Ritchies Pond is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Statts Mills Campground is a nice spot to camp nearby; why not take a little journey to Big Run since you're here. If you get bored of Ritchies Pond, you could also take a look at close by Turkey Run Lake, and you can make out Utah Hill from Ritchies Pond.
