A visit to Rainbow Pond is always a good idea. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. There's delightful hiking along the Johns Creek Mountain Trail, and if you need a location to stay Four Points By Sheraton is a tremendous choice. Brushy Mountain is clearly visible from Rainbow Pond, and there's whitewater on Second Creek for all you adrenaline people. and do pop by Bob Branch if you're here at Rainbow Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Mountain Lake Hotel is a good spot to spend a night or two. Throughout the summer at Rainbow Pond temperatures are ordinarily
in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Rainbow Pond sink into the 10's. Georges Cut Hollow is near
Rainbow Pond and is absolutely a delightful place to stop at, and you can run the rapids of Little Stony Creek.
