I grow up there as a child... cought the biggest carp out of that lake that i had ever seen at that time gilbert news came and inter viewed me and put a picture of me and my fish on the front page...year of 1984 i moved on to tennessee but hopefully my son will get the pleasers of goin back home and fishin that lake!!!

Beautiful R. D. Bailey Lake has much to offer visitors. SUPER 8 MOTEL - LOGAN is a great place to get some rest; R. D. Bailey Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Panther State Forest is a great place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Argus Hollow is a wonderful site to visit close to R. D. Bailey Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Little Huff Creek.
R. D. Bailey Lake truly is in the middle of a lovely outdoors

| | paradise. Why not take a look at Joe Point also while you're here; you can run the rapids of Guyandotte River. At R. D. Bailey Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for R. D. Bailey Lake.
