Panther State Forest is a glorious local campground, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Horse Creek Lake is just a very short distance away. A perfect place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to R. D. Bailey Lake is Little Huff Creek, and if you're here, you could visit Bear Fork. Joe Point is close by and always great to explore, and why not       camp at Twin Hollow Campground since you're here at R. D. Bailey Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from R. D. Bailey Lake to observe the water at R D Bailey Lake Dam, and a magnificent place to check out is Argus Hollow. If you need a location to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - LOGAN is a nice choice, and if you've had enough of R. D. Bailey Lake, Slagle Impoundment is nearby. Summertime highs at R. D. Bailey Lake usually tend to be in the                  80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's.
