Bailey Lake is Argus Hollow, and camping at R. D. Bailey Lake is pleasant fun, Paradise Island Of Christian       is a pleasant local campground. Now, you may feel that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at R. D. Bailey Lake. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Guyandotte River. If you need a location to stay Justonian Motel is a good choice; why not a little side journey to Bear Fork. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Compton Inn, and there's always R D Bailey Lake Dam to go to right next door to R. D. Bailey Lake. R.                  D. Bailey Lake gets much water; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is October. You have to go to Joe Point when you're here at R. D.
