We love going there because it is a quiet place to camp and a great place to fish. The skiing at Winterplace is magnificent; why not camp at Lake Stephens Campground while you're here at Plum Orchard Lake. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Dunloup Creek, and there are plenty of folks from Oak Hill here. Summertime highs at Plum Orchard Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. All through the winter highs are usually in       the 40's while Plum Orchard Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. Plum Orchard Lake gets a great deal of water; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. Bluestone National Scenic River is a great local destination here at Plum Orchard Lake; while you're here, you could stop by Beech Bottom Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday                  Inn Oakhill/New River Gorge, Wv; there's always Fayette County Lake Number One Dam to have a look at next to Plum Orchard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn of Mount Hope is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight stay Drift-a-bit white water is a perfect site to camp. If you adore the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Plum Orchard Lake.
