There's some attention-grabbing stuff to see at New Cumberland Lock and Dam near New Cumberland Pool, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Beaver Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hollow Rock Campground is always a delightful experience; you'll meet a lot of folks from Weirton-Steubenville here. For you golfers we recommend close by Mountainr Park Golf       Course, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Brimstone Run. New Cumberland Pool truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. If you came to camp Austin Lake Campground is a great spot to do that; New Cumberland Pool is right by the Gretchens Lock Trail. New Cumberland Pool gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This                  lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express NEWELL is a fine site to get some rest. For the duration of the summer months, highs generally are in the 80's at New Cumberland Pool while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for New Cumberland Pool tend to be in the 10's. After a long day outdoors Andrews Inn Town Motel is a great place to spend a night or two, and hiking along the Fishermans Trail is tremendous fun.
