Mount Storm Lake is always a pleasure to visit. A delightful nearby hotel is Mountaineer Motel, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Difficult Creek. Laurel Run is a stream that you may run into during your stay, and Table Rock Inn is a splendid location to get some rest. Why not camp at Red Creek Campground if you're here at Mount Storm Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Blackbird Knob Trail.

Mount Storm Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with much rainfall; during July this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Mount Storm Lake is glorious fun, Blackwater Lodge is a glorious local campground. Summertime highs at Mount Storm Lake typically tend to be in the 70's, and throughout
summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mount Storm Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is good at Timberline, and Stony River is a delightful whitewater spot close by.
