This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Timberline nearby, and there are other sites here than Mount Storm Lake, for example Elk Run Reservoir. For the duration of the summer months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Mount Storm Lake. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through the wintertime       the highs are commonly in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Mount Storm Lake. Be careful coming to Mount Storm Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. If you need a place to stay Wisp Resort is a great choice; on a good day you can take a hike along the Breathed Mountain Trail. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Difficult Creek; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for                  a hike along the Blackbird Knob Trail. Mount Storm Lake usually gets a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Not far from Mount Storm Lake, you'll stumble on Stony River Reservoir which is a gorgeous lake, and you can stay the night at Red Creek Campground. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Canaan Valley. There's so much to do here at Mount Storm Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blackwater Lodge is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Laurel Run; there's always Mount Storm Power Station Dam to stop by close to Mount Storm Lake.
