You can run the rapids of Johns Creek close to Moncove Lake, and here at Moncove Lake you can catch a sight of Cove Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. This is a brilliant area for folks who like lakes. Moncove Lake is a lake around here, and there's whitewater on Second Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Moncove Lake Dam is not far at all from Moncove Lake, and don't leave Moncove       Lake without first going for a hike along the Potts Mountain Trail. If you need a spot to stay The Greenbrier is a splendid choice, and you can go for a hike on the Youngs Nature Trail. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Moncove Lake. Lakes are delightful; Connallys Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Moncove Lake; a great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LEWISBURG. A wonderful place to camp here at                  Moncove Lake is Moncove Lake State Park; wonderful hiking is available along the Potts Arm Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Camp Shaw-mi-del-eca. Moncove Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls through July, and January is when it's the driest. During the summertime months at Moncove Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and the night is rather colder of course, commonly in the 50's.
