West Virginia has many beautiful lakes and Long Branch Lake is one of them. Pipestem Koa Kampground is a great campground nearby, and glorious skiing awaits you at Winterplace. Throughout the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Long Branch Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Inn & Suites By Carlson, Princeton, WV is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Sleep Inn Princeton is a delightful spot to get some rest, and there's whitewater on Mountain Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
Going
for a hike on the Ripple Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and swing by Indian Branch it's a good spot to pop by. Near Long Branch Lake you locate the Standing Branch Horse Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and Pipestem Knob
is clearly visible from Long Branch Lake. There is a great hiking trail near Long Branch Lake called the Hoof and Hill Trail, and Pipestem Resort State Park is a splendid local campground.
