Float down the rapids of Glade Creek - New River Tributary in a kayak; a perfect nearby hotel is The Resort at Glade Springs. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Little Beaver Lake, you could also stop at wonderful Beckly Water Supply Number One Lake, and camping is available at Alpine Adventures. While you're here at Little       Beaver Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Beckley, and golf can be played at Beaver Creek Golf Club. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Little Beaver Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Little Beaver Lake through the wintertime typically sink into the 10's. Camping at Mountain State Travel and Trl Pr is always                  a pleasant experience, and some of the water nearby flows, like Laurel Run. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Piney Creek, and Bluestone National Scenic River is a good local destination. Sleep Inn Beaver is a great site to get some rest. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do near Little Beaver Lake. You can spot Round Knob from Little Beaver Lake; you can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Winterplace.
