There are other places here than Laurel Lake, for example Cotigo Lake, and Cinderella Impoundment Number Two is a good lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Cabwaylingo State Forest is a fine campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Chief Logan Ldg Htl & Conf Ctr is a delightful place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Laurel Lake get into the 80's.       Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Laurel Lake drop into the 10's. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Laurel Lake Dam, and why not take a little journey to Buck Branch if you're here. Stay the night at Chief Logan State Park, and Super 8 South Williamson/Goody Area is a wonderful                  spot to get some rest. So many cool things to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too wonderful to be true. Nearby Low Gap is a good place to go if you're at Laurel Lake; the Beech Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. Laurel Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Laurel Lake mostly gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
