This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Charles Fork is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to, and Horse-of-a-different-color-ranch is a nice campground here. If you need a place to stay Y Motel is a pleasant choice; an exciting thing to go to in close proximity to Lake Trotter is Lake Trotter Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Boggs       Grandview Motel; if you're here you can play some golf at Roane County Country Club. Not far from Lake Trotter, you'll stumble on Miletree Lakes which is a pretty lake, and you can distinguish College Hill from Lake Trotter. Lake Trotter sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Lake Trotter                  through the summer months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
