Summer at Lake O' Woods comes with high temperatures in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and night lows at Lake O' Woods during the wintertime usually dip into the 10's. Paddling on Sovern Run is so much fun, and Lake O' Woods is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pinhill Campground is a great local campground. This lake       is so wonderful. This is a popular site for folks from Morgantown, and dry warm beds await you at Historic Summit Inn Resort. Little Laurel Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth visiting, and Devies Mountain is wonderful and can be seen from here. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. If you need a place to stay Karlyn Motel is a good choice, and Lake O'Woods Recreation Club Dam is a gorgeous site, beyond doubt worth visiting. A perfect                  spot to camp here at Lake O' Woods is Chestnut Ridge Regional Park and Campground; the Great Gorge Trail offers hiking at its best. Lake O' Woods gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake O' Woods; Mile Trail is a nice local trail, and Big Sandy Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby.
