This lake is so wonderful. A short trip to Flowers Spring is always worthwhile, and Lake Floyd Golf Club is a golf course close by. Visit Cherrycamp Run while you're here at Lake Floyd, and if you came to camp Broken Wheel Campground Country Store is a good spot to do that. Lake Floyd typically gets a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is       the driest. After a long day outdoors Riverbend Motel is a great site to spend a night or two, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Clarksburg here. You completely must like Lake Floyd. Lake Floyd Dam is a picturesque location next to Lake Floyd. For the period of the summer here at Lake Floyd, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 20's                  for Lake Floyd. Towne House Motor Lodge West is a great location to get some rest.
