The high level of rain makes Lake Floyd a pretty wet site; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Summer at Lake Floyd comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's; overnight lows in the 20's for Lake Floyd. Lakes? Sure,       Salem Auxillary Lake is nearby; Flowers Spring is always fun to check out. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by City of Salem Reservoir, and Sleep Inn Bridgeport is a glorious spot to get some rest. It's a pleasant idea to go to Cherrycamp Run, it's close to Lake Floyd, and you'll meet a lot of people from Clarksburg here. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Floyd Dam is not far at all from Lake Floyd, and in close                  proximity to Lake Floyd you hit upon a golf course called Lake Floyd Golf Club. There's so much to do here at Lake Floyd that you need to camp here for a while, Broken Wheel Campground Country Store is a perfect place for that. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Lake Floyd.
